By providing a unified interface for academic management, tracking, and communication, Edufocus aims to streamline administrative processes and enhance the learning experience for all stakeholders involved.

2. User Eligibility

To access or use Edufocus, you must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental or guardian consent. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • Providing and maintaining the Edufocus platform services.
  • Personalizing student learning paths and educator dashboards.
  • Facilitating communication between institutions, teachers, and parents.
  • Analyzing platform performance to improve educational outcomes.

3. Account Registration

Edufocus offers specialized account types tailored to specific roles within the educational ecosystem:

Students

Personalized dashboard for learning materials, assignments, and performance tracking.

Parents

Monitoring tools to stay informed about their child's academic progress and attendance.

Teachers

Management tools for class schedules, grading, and direct student interaction.

Institutes

Institution-level controls for administration, staff management, and data analytics.

4. Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity. This includes submitting original work, respecting the intellectual property of others, and engaging in respectful, constructive behavior within the platform's communication channels. Any form of cyberbullying, harassment, or cheating will lead to immediate account review.

5. Parent Access

Parents are granted access to view their children's data. Edufocus reserves the right to verify the parent-child relationship through the registering institute. Parents must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials and are responsible for all activity occurring under their account.

6. Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers are responsible for the quality and accuracy of the content they upload. This includes educational materials, grades, and feedback. Professional conduct is mandatory in all interactions with students, parents, and other staff members on the platform.

7. Institutes Access

Institutional accounts are managed by designated administrators. Institutes are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of student and teacher data within their jurisdiction. Edufocus serves as a data processor for the Institute, which acts as the data controller.

8. Subscription & Fees

Fees for Edufocus services are determined based on the selected subscription tier and number of users. Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways. Failure to pay fees on time may result in limited access or suspension of services.

9. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the applicable service, payment terms, and local law. Please contact support with the relevant enrolment or subscription details for review.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, algorithms, designs, logos, branding, and UI elements on the Edufocus platform are the exclusive property of Edufocus Institutional SaaS. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform for its intended educational purposes only.

11. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from:

  • Attempting to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to other accounts.
  • Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the platform.
  • Posting content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on rights.

12. Platform Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Periodic maintenance and updates are required to maintain system integrity. Edufocus is not liable for any losses resulting from temporary platform unavailability.

13. Limitation of Liability

Edufocus acts as a technology facilitator. We are not responsible for the specific quality of education provided by institutes or the accuracy of user-generated content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edufocus's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.

14. Account Suspension

Edufocus reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or disrupt the platform's operation. Reinstatement is at the sole discretion of the Edufocus compliance team.

15. Privacy

Your privacy is paramount. Please review our full Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with global standards.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in law or our services. Significant changes will be notified via the platform dashboard or email. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
